ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOUR

This tour takes you a magical journey back in time to walk along the streets of Pompeii and Herculaneum as the Romans did more than 2,000 years ago.

With most of Pompeii excavated you can wander around this vast site as you could in ancient times.You can stop by the shops, call in the theatre, visit the houses and even read the graffiti on the walls. When you visit this site of Hercolaneum, the first impression is one of amazement at the sheer volume of the volcanic materials that covered this Roman port. A large part of Herculaneum is still hidden beneath the present day town ,so you can explore the area which over 2000 years ago was close by the sea.

After visiting the sites a ride up to the volcano of Vesuvio .We will accompany you as far as possible by road and then give you time to reach the rim of the crater on foot , so that you can savour the spectacullar views from the summit.
